It was the winter of Rishikesh and Guruji’s presence brought the warmth all around. The electrifying satsangs, the serene advance courses, the hindi question answers were always less for the demanding souls.
I had a chance to be with Him in His Kutir and I positioned myself in the best spot to see Him. He was meeting everyone and blessing people. There was this middle-aged man who came to meet Him. He had hid all his excitement and sniffles. Very softly with a smile on his face, he whispered to Gurudev that there are so many problems in my life. Financial problems, relationship problems, health problems he said without any contrite or sadness.
He said ‘Itne pareshaani ke baad bhi, problems, problem nahi lagate hai”. I feel “Aap jaise mere jeevan mein chat(roof) ban kar aaye ho”. “Problems mujhe nahi choo paa rahe hai”. Guruji blazingly retorted “Mein chhat nahi, chhatri hoon, kyoki mein portable hoon, mujhe kahin bhi le jaa sakte ho”.
(Freely translated as “Guruji I have so many problems, but I feel as if you have come as a roof in my life. Above the roof are all the problems, and they don’t touch me”. Guruji blazingly replied “I am not a roof, but an umbrella, as I am portable, you an carry me anywhere”. )
There may be problems in our lives, don’t forget they have been filtered by the umbrella above to such an extent that only tiny trickles touch us. We are only moistened, never wet with it when Guruji is in our life.
PS:- Do read the older posts and comment. Do Digg or stumble on posts which you like. This way the blog gets noticed by people who have not done the courses. Already a lot of people from different countries visit it now. The blog crossed the 4000 hit mark in less than 3 months :)) Off to Kollam for Shivratri, will update once back. its really what i feel these days, all my problems seem to be a bit less intense and inspite of everypossible difficulties i dont know why i dont feel tensed. Also things dont really turn out to be that bad as u expexted, like writing an exam and expecting less marks coz u think u messed it but when result come you are shocked to see how u scored well then most of the people…
I also hereby confess a thing, initially it was hard for me to believe what people said abt guruji , his powers, miracles.. but even tht shaky faith worked out wonders. As of today, i dont have any doubt in my faith and i feel very proud and fortunate at the same moment that somebody is thr pouring his blessings all the time….
you really dont understand how he works, but he works for sure.. and he is always watching for sure…

Lovely guru story and how true! Do post some more guru stories which keep reminding us of the grace flowing in our lives. We ought to have gratitude all the time.
Now I know why I didnt feel sad when I lost my umbrella this rainy season. Why do I need an umbrella at all, when HE is there to protect me always.
