How much More?

After all the comments which I have approved and personal emails, that I should not be siding anyone, I put down some more facts which will be spine chilling for a lot of people. A girl went on to add that terrorists families should be supported and I have personally replied to all emails which I received after the last post.

We have been reading the Shri Bhagwad Gita in the night (Bhaskar and team religiously land up at 11 pm) and it has helped me to understand the present situation in its exactness. We all also have to fight, but have to fight against insecurity, injustice, illiteracy, ignorance and the malice surrounding us with dispassion. This is my last post in urging you to vote and vote for change….before you really ask yourself “How much More?”

7/11 2006: Mumbai Train Blasts. 209 Killed.
25/8 2007: Hyderbad Blasts: 42 Killed
Oct 11 2007: Ajmer Blasts : 2 Killed
May 13 2008: Jaipur Blasts : 68 Killed
July 16th 2008: Ahmedabad Blasts : 57 Killed
July 25th 2008: Banglaore Blasts: 1 killed
Sept 13th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 26 Killed
Sept 27th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 2 Killed
Sept 29th 2008 : Gujrat Blasts : 1 killed
Oct 21st 2008: Imphal Blasts : 17 Killed
Oct 30th 2008: Assam Blasts : 40 Killed
Nov 26th 2008: Mumbai Attack: 180 killed

Did you know that on the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the Government gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan ? Last year our Govt. has given Rs 3000 crores (600 Million Dollars) to Afghanistan? This, when victims of terror in India have not yet got aid? What’s going on?

2) Our Government has given 25 lakh scholarships ONLY to minority students..
What sin have the majority done not to deserve these?
Why cannot poor students of all communities be given scholarships instead of only Muslim children?

3) Thanks to the Congress led Government, out of 36000 temples in Andhra Pradesh, 28000 have closed down in the last five years. Do you want the same trend to continue in other parts of the country? Do you want a Nagaland type of situation in the whole of India? While government controls most of the Hindu temples, the minority community has had full freedom to organize their religious bodies.. The minority communities now have the first right over resources. Is this not a blatant violation of fundamental rights of the majority community?

4) Why have the minorities in Nagaland, Mizoram & Kashmir not got the similar privileges like the minorities in other states? Why is the Govt following different rules for different religions?

“Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya

Glanirva Bhavathi Bharatha,

Abhyuthanam Adharmaysya

Tadatmanam Srijami Aham’.

Bhagavad Gita (Chapter IV-7)

“Whenever there is decay

of righteousness O! Bharatha

And a rise of unrighteousness

then I manifest Myself!”

This happens only in India …….. πŸ™‚
Interesting facts ……….. and God knows what the solution is …….. because when BJP comes to power … exactly reverse will happen and Congress will start the blame game of no power to minority ……….. and life goes on and on and on ………….. :-p sighhhh !!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you that we should be voting for change –
but the question is – anything but Congress – is that Change?

How can we guarantee that if BJP comes takes the reins into its hands – the things that we are striving for and the country is lacking – will be achieved.

Will that mean that the relief funds given to other countries will be stopped or minimized and priority given to the terror-struck people get the fair share.

There is a lot of scope for growth and development if BJP is the chosen one – but I dont think we should overlook the social-cultural negative aspects brought to the society by BJP so-called leaders.

As far as security – who is to be blamed for Kargil?

Its not that I am supporting Congress and protesting against BJP.
I have no strong viewpoint as of now , because the cons both the parties hold outweigh each others as well as their own pros.

One of the biggest changes I feel is that youth are taking the lead.Hope at least they are not over-shadowed by the kings of this game who are fighting just for power and not for change.

@Sid not a bad idea at all ……….. I’ll start my career being your PA …….. :-p

Yes I agree with Neha and I shudder in voting for BJP after what Shri Modi had to say about congress “burdensome old woman”. I get the creeps because I am almost there,so folks prejudiced mind is bad whoever it is,just take a hard look at the candidates standing in the fray from your constituency and vote according to the candidates’ qualities rather than a party,I am for a partyless democracy CHEERS:)

Samajwadi Party’s manifesto includes the fight against computers! Too bad the election voting is computerized!
    http://bit.ly/k2pQr
I am very curious to know what was Mulayam Singh Yadav smoking when he said that.

I dont think it really matters who is in power. Either ways its a mess. What India needs is a Barbarain Law just like that in the Gulf or Taliban. Suddenly I think I have a new found respect for them. :-p

(For starters – RajeshSir might want to Shoot me for writing EXACTLY what he does not preach) :-p

Talk about India Shining – Chak De India !!!!! Ridiculous !!!!!

“The use of computers in offices is creating unemployment problems. Our party feels that if work can be done by a person using hands there is no need to deploy machines,” Mulayam Singh said at a press conference.

Mulayam Singh said: “We will only press for removing the compulsory use of English language in education, administration and judiciary. We favour the use of national and regional languages.”

How much more insane can one get to promote such a things. If this is a promise he is making to get his votes in place, he might as well add that they will remove the compulsory need for development and growth !!!

The use of computers in offices is creating unemployment problems. ???So curb the use of computers???

Thats infuriating to read such comments from leaders.
I think there’s smoke coming out my ears on reading this article.

Yes Sir… waiting for your next one !!!

  11. Karan

@Surbhit ….. you took a lot of pains to write a blog on this post …….. ever wondered why is it that “THE HINDU” is the only MAIL paper that published this news?
Had it been really genuine – it should have hit the news on all papers.
    Think about it my friend.
Kindly avoid bashing an individual with a personal opinion ……… it’ll be great if you have a point to prove …. maybe Y Congress is good ……. πŸ™‚

    @Surbhit – I totally agree witth Karan.

Your efforts to write a blog post seem futile if those efforts are against somebody’s opinions on a personal blog. The efforts rather should have been channeled in just putting your point forward supported by facts.

AOL and the teachings of Guruji have nothing to do with this blog post.

These sort of posts just portray immaturity.
Infact from your post it wasn’t clear what was it that bothered you – the support for BJP or the popularity of AOL and its teachers.

Also, you have all the rights to maintain your own blog and post your opinions- but definitely none for maligning AOL.
