The best way to handle negative emotions…

I went for a Guru Pooja yesterday and asked everyone present “What are the qualities you look for in a good person?” A lot of them replied “truthfulness, faithfulness, honesty, loving, caring, does not back bite etc etc”.

Are these the qualities, which you are looking for in a person, or is it that the emotions of untruthfulness, unfaithfulness, dishonesty, hatred, worry when ignited within you, you not able to handle them within yourself?

Think about it :-

1) I educate myself and yearn for marks for learning or because I cannot handle the low self esteem which people transmit with bad marks.

2) I want a good job to distribute happiness, or I cannot go through the discomforts of peoples diseased opinions

3) I want a nice natured person around me, since I cannot handle distrust, hatred, snobby emotions which are packaged  with them

4) I am desiring a loving companion to dole out my care or because I feel terribly lonely and bored and cannot face them

These feelings when dispatched from a near-dear one, are emotions which we dread away from. So since we don’t know how to tackle these emotions, we yearn for people around us to be good. Lord Krishna gets his chariot between the good and bad in the middle path and tells Arjuna to look at both sides and annihilate the bad, the tendencies within.

The fight is against these tendencies, when we meet people who ignite these emotions in us, so instead of expecting good people, we have to be armed with the ammunitions of handling and diffusing these emotions skillfully and with ease.

In my life, this was done by the advance course with Guruji. The first advance course with Guruji was the point in my life, when I started becoming ‘jaigurudev’ 🙂 I still remember the long waits for Him, and He asking me again and again, if I am in Silence ? I very sincerely would say “Yes Guruji”. He would smile and place His finger on His mouth.

Be there for the YES+ advance…be there for this one happyning on May 20 to May 25 in His sublime presence. Book yourself with Anurag sooner than May 5, to keep your seat reserved for Rs 3k at 9235694776.

C U there!!

JaiGurudev!!

PS :- The title for this post is for you to decide, I will put the most suitable title with your name:)  The post is very revolutionary in terms of contemplating feelings, surely add more to the list above ‘think about it’.

It’s a worth reading post !What I feel is our tailor made expectations bind us in our own thoughts and reinforce us to see people behaving in our own fashion…and when we don’t see people following our wishes we get disappointed ! whereas worthy thing would be to have a lot of patience and compassion for people around us !

One of the best reads i believe (mainly during exam time it was not less than a treat)

i think one needs to have the strength and the knowledge to first not allow any such emotion arise in his mind and secondly if it does being able to see through and have a control on them. and true again these things come from a great deal of practice and a right approach like bhaiyya found through advanced course.

well this post is about identifying and starting our journey on this path to empowerment and the call has to come from within….considering all that the titles i wud suggest are

    1. ‘ Kindling the fire within’

    and two more

    2. ‘That thing called emotion’
    3. ‘Accepting people made easy’

    😀 😀

    Nice post bhaiya!!!
isko padh kar aisa laga ki “MOKSHA” milne wala hai!!!! 😉
Appropriate title could be “The Journey through Emotions”!!! 🙂

  8. Rakesh Bhramar

This post is really very deep, profound and the way to Moksha. Due to all these small small things, we are not able to see the soul, we are getting entangled in these superficial looks and knowledge. WHY???????

Still I am in Search……………………………I dont know when I will get answer ?

Now the title of this post came to my mind is “OBSTACLES IN MOKSHA…”

    Jai gurudev Bhaiya…..

    with lots of love.

This is really nice to read this.

  9. Shubham

    Nice post bhaiya 🙂

and a cool idea to let us come up a title…kinda tells how we connect with the article. Here s mine..

    ‘Of Reflections and Mirages’

‘cuz what you want/see in others is a reflection of your desires and what you are/why you do something is often a mirage of the truth.

  11. Meghana

Hahaha, that yes guruji episode was really a nice one bhaiya. The title for the post as per my views is “Pseudo Emotions and Feelings-a big torture”.

  12. Ruchi

Heavy dose indeed how about a title with some twist:
Toba tera Jalwa!! toba tera pyar!! tera emotional atyaachar:D

  13. sudar

a very nice post , very profound thoughts put in such a simple way. reminds me of what Guruji tells about sutras being threads which lift you up and helps one to connect to their center. this post was one such. thanks.

  14. sudar

“Why you do what you do”

  15. Meghana

    One more title bhaiya
    Fultoos emotional atyachar

  16. pavan

very intelligent discussion bhaiya, people will definitely contemplate..

  17. ashutosh dwivedi

    amazing bhaiya….

  18. vinay

I feel that the article is surrounded by the idea of acceptance, surrender and the realization that no one is perfect. I am sure that what we hate are qualities within ourselves we are trying to run away from, hence we must learn to accept them in ourselves and the others.
This article also reminds me of one proveb in guruji’s book “The seeds of wisdom” which said “Dance with the opposites, live with them” back then few years ago I did not understand it but now I see…..

I feel “Dance with the opposites, live with them” would be a good title.

  19. Aatish

agar aap kuch aisa bata sake jisse hum apne aap ko pahchan sake!!…. pls try …

  20. suvigya

this is no doubt 1 of ur best article bhaiya….

  21. Sakshi

Simply FANTASTIC!!!!! it kepps me going!!!!

    JGD! 🙂

  22. Manish Nasa

    Is it that I don’t want to study/work ?

Or is that yucky feeling that just the thought of studying/working/failing. produces in me… that I cannot handle 😕 just cannot 🙁

  23. Shilpa Rau

Inside Out….or Outside In……the world we see out there is the world we create within..
