Simply loved the brilliant answers for these two questions in the ashram yesterday.
Q. What is the purpose of God for creating all this?
Guruji: What is the purpose of playing a game? You all play games, right? Why do you like to kick a ball from this end to that end, having a person standing there to stop it? If the idea were to put the ball in the net, you would have done that when the goalkeeper was not there. Your purpose is not that. Your purpose is to ‘play’, your purpose is ‘joy’. The more the goalkeeper resists, the more you enjoy. When you are happy, you play and become happier. So the God was getting bored, and wanted to play a game, hence he created this whole universe, and then himself entered into it. Usually when we create something, we are separate from it. But the divine entered into each and every particle of it. One cannot separate the dance & the dancer.
Q. Why is there a gap between intentions and the actions?
Guruji: When there is a gap between intentions and action, the reason is habits. Like your intention is to be nice to someone, but your habit is to be aggressive which shows up in the action. The habits come in between. How to overcome habits? Sadhana, Sadhana, Sadhana.
wow bhaiyya…how do u manage to remember everything spoken by Guruji so exactly??! Wish I too could do that! I was fortunate enough to be there…
