It was one of the great days I was experiencing after concluding a Guru Pooja and then gulping down mouthfuls of penne in pesto basilico at Little Italy. The day continued with driving down to Worli Seaface at Mumbai. The first two hours ticked away in feeling the breeze travelling from oblivion and breaking her journey against my body and while we journeyed through with dumbsherras. We shattered the other team totally with the difficult Hindi film names which we digged from the past.
While all this was going on, there was a loud crash heard which interrupted the game of someone’s life just meters away. We all raced towards the scene of the accident where until now I could see only a Sumo heralded against the middle pathway. I increased my speed, people aplenty joining from nowhere, I was moving faster than I thought until the trees faded away from my view and now I wished I was not here, at this moment. There was a youngster on his stomach, a fallen bike and total gloom.
I, very well saw him not breathing, his head swimming in a sea of blood. While I write this, the scenes play back in my mind and I stop…wait. The AOL volunteers were at brisk speed rescue mission. No one wanted to touch him, I reached forward and with all might prayed hard to Guruji and touched him. To my utter, sheer shock the boy started breathing. Life had re-entered him with long deep breaths, almost the same breath that I was inhaling. My heart beat had soared very high and for the first time I was touching an accident victim at the site. His friends arrived, and were not ready to come to terms with the entire episode, when Sanjayji, simply lifted his legs, turned his head around which was badly broken, shattered and put him into a cab. The boy still breathing….friends still struggling and the cab zoomed away.
The fast speed had put a comma or a full stop to someone’s life. Had he worn the helmet, he would not have been the center of distraction for so many people. I don’t know if he is alive, but my sincere request to all you reading away, Please wear a helmet when you drive.
Om Namah Shivaya!!

Om Namah Shivay!!
May be it is HIS way of taking care of his devotees. Guruji sent you as a messenger of life. I am sure he must be an AOL person or even if he is not, Guruji does take care of everybody irrespective of caste and creed.
One more way to show us that HE is there for us and with us always.
Jgd
That’s cool..Guruji can actually do anything..Even we cannot think of imagining to that extent, to that level of his knowing things !!!
I pray for his life
A very shocking incident to witness and to be able to have your wits around by guruji’s grace and be helpful in your own way is appreciable,as for the victim I pray for him that whatever is best for him happens whether staying in the world or going away.
I feel quite optimstic that he’s still alive. Hope tht’s true. About the experience, it was terrible!!
And bhaiyya the description of wind ending her journey at your body is a nice way to say it!! I like the style of describing so simple and routine things in such metaphors. JGD.
