I want or I don’t want

Whenever we ask for something, there is always something behind it which you don’t want. Like if you ask for money it is poverty you are resisting, if you ask for fame, it is loneliness which you might be resisting. If you ask for good education, you may be resisting being looked down by the masses. The mightier the wish, the magnanimous could be the aversion. The mind want newness all the time, since it recognises the present moments in its newness, while the heart longs for the old.

Being with the old and seeing newness in the mind, could be the key. Keeping the mind new, rather than it looking for something new, dusting it off of the dirt of the past and taming it to be in the present is sadhana.

As Guruji says “Joy is love for what is, Sorrow is love for what is not”

    JGD!
i was reading one or Ramana Maharishi’s book. He said in order to go within ask who am i! A question was raised what if some desire arises. He replied question the person to whom it will benefit![just thought i would type]

Another thing is Guruji has said to conc on the abundance and leave the lacking. We concentrate on what we dont have but forget what we have! 🙂

    JGD Bhaiya…….
“We must live in the present, launch ourself on every wave, find our eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land, there is no other life but this present moment.”- Henry David
Isn’t it, Bhaiya? This is what I have learned in those precious days of the course with you and Pawan Bhaiya. You know, it was not the first time when I heard these type of words, but the first time when I realised the essence of these words i.e. “RIGHT NOW”. Thanks to all f u.

hi… bhaiya,u quoted it very rightly that whenever we ask for something new our mind resist something.this small game of mind i never analyzed and its soo…. nice feeling to watch this small game of mind.I think right now i know why Guruji always asks us that, ‘Always ask God to give you what is best for u’ This small shift keeps us away from getting entangled in aversion or feverishness of our small desires.
