A lot of people in the world dream of doing something apart from the ordinary, but few have the courage to go out and do it. Rajesh Jagasia happens to be one of those few.
Rajesh Jagasia, a graduate in Electronic Engineering from Mumbai University, served a Canadian software company for eight years while serving the society as a part time Faculty with the Art of Living. It was only a matter of time that he gave up his lucrative software career and switched to teaching the Art of Living Courses full time and ever since, there was no looking back.
When asked how it felt to become a full time Art of Living faculty, he said, its like a Rollercoaster ride. People go to an amusement park and enjoy the rollercoasters along with other rides, maybe once a year, but he has decided to take on this thrilling journey for the rest of his life.
Today, not only does he teach courses in India, but all across the globe.
He has become a Youth icon across India, after having taught the YES!+ (Youth Empowerment & Skills) workshop to thousands of youth, transforming their lives, and mentoring them to success. Not only does he appeal to the youth but, his witty and light-hearted humor, coupled with simple yet profound understanding and delivery of practical knowledge, makes him extremely popular with corporates. He has given several inspirational talks and facilitated various workshops in the corporate world. He has also started the Drug Free India campaign in the year 2019.
Here’s a list of some of the most memorable talks:
– Invited by the director of IIT BHU to give a talk on MIND 2.0
– Samsung – Talk on Happiness at Workplace
– Nova Southeastern University, Florida, U.S.A – A talk on Transcending to a new dimension
– Addressed thousands of corporates and students across different cities of Russia
– Arizona state university – Mind Matters
– Addressed students and faculties at IITs and IIMs across India
– Was part of the Knowledge Forum in South Korea with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
– Addressed American Doctors of Indian Origin in Orlando on Science behind the breath
He has left no community or section of society untapped, having taught courses from India to the Middle East, USA to Korea, Russia to Germany; you name it! He has also taught courses right from the Royal families of the Middle East to free courses in the slums of Dharavi.
An Experience which shaped many lives!
Once while travelling to BHU, he passed by a small village, in the Naxal prone tribal belt of Naugargh district in eastern Uttar Pradesh called Aurwan Tand – a place with 100% illiteracy, where children dreamt of growing up to become Naxalites! To add to that, the village was struck by malnutrition. Rajesh Jagasia, under the guidance of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, found a solution to both problems by opening a free school there, which served mid-day meals. A project which would have never seen the light of day, has now been successfully running since over 11 years. In the recent years, the first few batches of students cleared 10th standard examination and a lot of students are now studying in Engineering Colleges in nearby cities.
He has dedicated his life to serving society and bringing a smile on the peoples face. Art of living is about ordinary people doing extraordinary things and Rajesh Jagasia is an embodiment of this.
