DSN at Chembur

I have thought of posting one nicely written experience of the students of my DSN’s so that all the participants can pen down their experiences for the DSN into the comments. This will keep these courses alive in blogosphere and also they can look back to these fond memories whenever desired, and ya it saves paper. The chembur DSN was awesome.

Here is the experience of Sudhir Nair

Jaigurudev!

I was a participant of a DSN course conducted by Rajesh Bhaiya in Chembur from 5th – 8th Aug 2010. Incidentally, this was my third DSN course, and hands down, the best experience so far.

No doubt the processes and the format were similar to the earlier ones, but this time I could go way deeper than before.

All our life most of us have been self centered and our focus has always been on “Me & My Family”. With this backdrop, it was heartening to see everybody helping people, people who were perfect strangers a day before, in challenging and overcoming their own boundaries. It was like a whole big joint family – complete with Grandparents and many small kids – but without the saas-bahu and the jaydad fights! Recognizing your barriers & comfort zones and breaking them all one by one was an exhilarating experience. And the oneness that I felt with Guruji was an unparalleled experience.

At the end of three and a half days, after going through the entire gamut of emotions akin to a Bollywood movie, the way we are transformed into a herd of tigers has to be seen to be believed.

The credit for all of this undoubtedly goes to Rajesh Bhaiya. His unflagging zeal and enthusiasm is contagious and ensured that all of us are always in the present moment. He’s very ruthless in everyone’s assessment, but at the same time he also provides us with solutions to overcome it. And his smile – that’s going to be a part of all our lives forever!

But all of this wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the superb team of Teachers and volunteers ably led by AnuradhaJi. Right from getting people to the course to ensuring that proper messages reaches to all of us; taking care of all our accommodation, it was one smooth operation by them. I have never seen a better administered course so far. You guys really deserve a standing ovation for this! AHO!!!

All in all, it was a smashing experience. I’am now fitted with a turbo charged engine rearing to go on and on and on…. 🙂

    Jai Gurudev,

I’m feeling really blessed to be a DSN participant. I was a wonderful journey of my past which I got to traverse in 3 days of course and feeling really blesses and secured that someone is there to take care of you all your life and felt connected to him.

Rajesh sir, is a full of energy and life and I think his presence only made me to complete this course. When he was telling stories about Guruji, there was spark in his eyes .

Participants were great and of different age groups, but didn’t feel the difference at all, got connected to everyone.

    DSN rocks and AHO………

    Jai Gurudev.

    Jai Gurudev,

I heard about DSN during my last Part 1 course at Youth Council in May 2009. However my repeated attempts to participate became futile. The one I registered for at Mulund got postponed… My request to attend the DSN at Dadar was turned down as I am considered too old for that batch…( More than 30 is too old to join the young group, I was told)..

But you see, ultimately Guruji blessed me with the chance to attend the session at Ahobila Mutt, just 2 Km from my residence. This time again it was not without doubts and uncertainities.. I had recently joined a week end Executive MBA course at IIT Mumbai.. and a very important session by a very senior professor was organised on 7th and 8th Aug.. Thank God, I chose to stay with DSN…

I never imagined that the experience would be such a memorable one which I would cherish for a life time…

The energy levels of the teacher Rajesh Bhaiya and others like Anuradhaji, Lathaji, Santoshiji and other volunteers were intoxicating indeed..

Sneha would continue to be known as Badlapur for a long time to come. I still wonder why only 4 passengers were there in the ladies compartment..

And Mr. India and Miss India too…

Breaking the barriers.. an accomplished task at the DSN.

Bondaries.. already broken.. why handle, we can even chew a cockroach..But Guruji has prohibited non-veg..

    No fan.. No issue…

    Food.. well, what is that?..

Comfort zone .. is now for only those who are not committed.. Not for us..

You know, 3 seconds is now too much time.. Whole group can sit in position within 2 and half seconds..

Two rounds of Padma Sadan..and combined with Kriya..No problem yaar.. We are now DSN Tigers.. Ok.. only that the Padma Sadan would be some what unique and unheardof herebefore in style and nature..

We are divine now, because we have learned to comply with the commitments…

Well, first time in life, I was involved in Seva.. I was confused at times.. Was it really Seva or an assignment to test our ability to face the “rejection” in real life.

Now, I am ready to face rejection without the feeling of getting rejected!!! I could never imagine that i would be able to take that many rejections from so many people with a constant smile on my face…

Coming to Smiles.. I remember Rajesh Bhaiya’s words.. ofcourse echoing Guruji’s message..”smile refers to a state of undisturbed inernal mind set”…

Yes, I now crave to have the breakfast, lunch and dinner .. again.. together with all the particpants.. Only if !!!

Other than Rajesh Bhaiya, other organisers and volunteers, I also fondly remember my buddy Biswas ji… Such a wonderful person.. Thank you dear..

Another person who kept me in constant awareness about AOL is Satish Shetty whom I met for the first at the part 1 course at Youth Council..Thank you Satish…

Ofcourse, the credit of my experience at DSN Chembur goes to one of AOL’s enthusiastic volunteers, Smitha who ventured to visit our house on a rainy day at late hours (10 pm) to register me for the course..Thanks a lot Smitha…

Only the problem now for me is that I am not contented with the joy that I got in the program.. I want to experience it again and again..Anyone knows where and when is the next DSN?

    Jai Gurudev!!!

From your most irregular student –
It was a wonderful experience..With the most wonderful teacher…rather most handsome teacher around..His smile resembles that of Shashi Kapoor of old films.

I am not a very good student in any class for that matter and he caught me day 1… day dreaming, “so many courses— ONE more course!!!”

Sometimes I would be confused of his continuous praise for Guruji..For me as per the Bhagwat Geeta, there is a glimpse of God in any human being but “GOD” is truly very vast than what we see.

As per Bible: “JESUS is God”…

But again it’s said in GEETA that, “LEAVE ALL THE RELIGIONS AND COME TO ME – YOU SHALL BE TAKEN CARE OF”.

But he made me realize that Where could you find “GOD”? He comes to you in a form of a Human Being and start realizing HIS presence each day: “CELEBRATE GOD – CELEBRATE LIFE”. Feel HIS presence.

His most catching statement – “JESUS IS LOVE BUT CROSS IS PAIN”.

One more thing I would like to share – I was dead tired after day 1 & he says like project managers show me the numbers…and I had made up my mind, I cant do it, forget it – chuck it – I am not coming back to this course. I don’t have the strength and I cant do this selling on the road – But what happened was – I went out for seva – Talked to the second person and he gave me cash in my hand..and blessed me and registered for the course.

I realized – its by the grace of GOD that you could sell else how on earth would you get a person when all the others on day 1 kept trying.. Hence I did not give up…

He also taught me “How to praise”.. and loved the way he did for the aunty who cooked food. Now I know the secret of cooking….Thanks

Many Many Thanks Mr. “JAG—Asia”..it was a truly wonderful and life time experience.

Thanks a Million & God Bless..
Also Thanks Neeta … you gave me a wonderful tip for life.

First thing you remember about the course is — Yes!!!
    With Yes, everything is possible.
The best outcome of the course was that Shyam donated 1 acre land at Mahabaleshwar. Now we can have our ashram at Mahabaleshwar!!!

Everybody should put in their ideas for the ashram in this blog. The things that come in my mind are self sustained power supply from Wind mill or Solar, Water harvesting, zero discharge. Please keep on putting your ideas

From a lifestyle of ‘dont say yes’ to a’ dont say no’ is a 180 degree change in direction for three and a half days and still trying to find which direction I am headed now,the enthusiasm of Jag-asia was infectious and it is difficult to forget the hot babes,as well as the poor cockroach hanging from its whisker, any way every cockroach has its day sooner or later!:)
    Jai Gurudev!

I had one month holidays and was determined to do the DSN course, even though I knew nothing about the course, except the remarks of Aadeshji, a senior teacher, that the course was a ‘Commando Training’. I checked everywhere – in Bangalore, Delhi, Shimla…. but there was no DSN course happening during my holidays. I learnt about the Chembur course with Rajesh Bhaiyya only a few days in advance. And Thank God, I did the course.

The exoerience is so wonderful that it cannot be expressed in words. I felt Guruji’s Grace flowing through Rajesh Bhaiyya. I got all the answers without asking any questions. I felt one with everyone even though I did not know anybody prior to my doing the course. I am feeling so energetic and enthusiastic after doing the course. On my return to Delhi, I spoke to a few friends about doing the AOL Basic Course and they readily agreed to do the course without asking me a single question.

A big Thank You to Rajesh Bhaiyya as also to Anuradhaji and other teacher and seva volunteers. They did amazing job. Thank you Sachinji and family for making my stay so comfortable.

    Jai Guru Dev.

    JAI GURUDEV!!!
The real DSN actually started on the last day of the course when we stepped out of the hall as lions (and lionesses)..
After the course , I am more aware of things around me..when a thought comes , i can cut through it with one of the 5 sutras everytime..Basically the application of the sutras has come ino being…
Also , I have started looking at Seva with an all new dimension..
and the course has kindled within me an udying sense of positivity…
It was a total kb3(kya baat , kya baat , kya baat) DSN!!
Thank you Rajesh bhaiyya for making the course so very special…
    AHO!!!

  15. Savithri Raman

Jai Gurudev, Hi Rajesh Bhaiyya,After my DSN course i went to kerala on 31st of August. It was pouring heavily that day.Myself and my husband Raman had to literally rush to catch the train. On the way i got a jerk in my left knee. That is the begining and the end of the story. My Meniscus was totally torn and i had to undergo Arthroscopy Surgery on 5th of October. Now i m perfectly fine and we all know that Guruji is always there by my side. But my fear is Doctors (both my Ortho nd Physiotherapist)told me not to do any Asanas in which my Knee don’t get full weight. I am worried my DSN (where my exercises are concerned) will go in vain. They hv also told me not to sit in Vajrasan anymore. Bhaiyya please advise me on this point. Thks . Savithri
