Frenchie style

The French toast – I wanted to try the vegetarian style and it turned out better than the original. A little tedious, also seems dangerous with the ingredients but for the cooking indulgence it’s a boon.
Boil 1 cup milk to boil and add 2 tbsp sugar, mixing well till it dissolves.
Add the hot milk to the 2 tbsp custard powder and mix well to form a smooth, thick batter.
On a non stick pan, add some butter and let it melt.
Dip bread slices in the milk mixture on both sides just for 2 seconds on each side.
Immediate place them on the griddle.
Now add some pecans, the sweetened cranberries and serve hot. No one can stop at one slice.
